The episode was boring honestly. But I somehow understand where these two are coming from.
A properly done wedding costs anywhere between 5-25 lacs depending on expenditure and location even for middle class. They are both basically broke right now. For Anu obviously I understand that she doesnt want to make a fuss.
For Anuj I feel it was slightly out of character to want a lavish wedding.
If I was finally getting the love of my life after 26 years, I would really want to get married in a temple. Coz it would be the lord’s miracle and I would wanna savour it in peace. 😂😂
Maybe I am minority but I like the temple/court idea. Its simple and more suited to their personalities. It should ideally mean less drama but since this is ITV thats not gonna happen 🤢
I dont think you are the minority. We have seen so much of grandeur over the days that most of us want something simple. Plus, like you said, based on char AK who was depicted to incline towards simplicity, it is surprising that he is interested in lavishness.

So, Vanraj might have prepared his 100th proposal in last few months.
As soon as Toshu mentioned he will meet his US based friend that evening and might ask him about business opportunity; within a flash Sr. Shah had a proposal ready! Within that time I can not even open power point on my computer, US computers are so slow, such a shame.
Seriously, Vanraj is very Bada Aadmi 🤣 How do they even act in such scenes, I wouldn't even stop laughing!

I don’t get why they would need a riskshaw, doesn’t Anuj have a car?😂 maybe the dialigues weren’t literal. I hope not! They can still have a gorgeous wedding without going too overboard, so I don’t get why they are acting like they can’t even afford their wedding outfits. It doesn’t have to be something overly grand which they will spend their whole life paying loans back, but at the same time they can still take some measures for their enjoyment in their own wedding by budgeting what money they do have. Was not a big fan of this simple wedding idea for no reason because it makes it seems like writers are just sabotaging the much awaited MaAns wedding for no good reason.
