Exactly. He wants Rishita to respect his family but he cannot give basic respect to her family. He should not have made fun of the gifts brought by Rishita's parents.

I enjoy Shiva - maami's fights but i hope now Shiva gives some respect to maami. I liked him for taking blessings from maami for Raavi's sake. Raavi never disrespected Suman even after so much of insults and humiliation. Shiva should not forget that and give some basic respect to maami.
