Hometown Cha Cha Cha -

Plot :

Hong Du Sik is a handsome and kind hearted man who is helpful to everyone in the town where he lives called Gongjin. He meets Yoon Hye Jin, a beautiful dentist who had recently shifted to the new town and helps her in settling her home and business. Slowly the two falls in love and thus begins their story. Its a simple plot with lesser complications and has its own kind of flavours added with the lives of town citizens and their stories on the surface.

Acting & Writing :

Though the plot looks simple but with time a viewer will understand how much depth is in the plot. The writing of the show is like two people talking next to you kinda realistic. It wont give you any artificial vibe. The people who live in Gongjin are not materialistic and they lead a fun filled bubbly life everyday. That makes the writing the king here because the story goes with the flow telling each and every character's detailed story alongwith the main couple's love story. The series has been written with utmost care like how a newborn baby is taken care of. Each and every dialogue touch your heart and make you one of the Gongjin citizen throughout this journey.

Acting is excellent undoubtedly. Its not the actors, its the characters who are talking. Each and everyone in the show had excelled in their own ways be it the lady who talks the most in the town, the so called divorced couple, the cute kids of the town, the pregnant couple, the dating couple, the sweetest oldies bunch, the father and daughter duo, the sweetest second male lead or our loveable main couple. Everyone had nailed their scenes.

Production Quality :

The series is set in a small town which itself is refreshing and the production quality does total justice in enhancing of the beauty of it on our screens. The locations are just picture perfect, simplistic and aesthetics small houses, larger than life cinematography, amazing direction and screenplay, throughout the show you will feel a homely vibe. OST and bgms are just pleasing and heartwarming. I have two favourite OSTs from this show :

Overall :

Hometown Cha Cha Cha is a relaxation therapy in one word. If you are having a heavy day and you want to watch / binge something that will relax you than keeping the ASMR videos aside tryout this beauty.

10/10 from me but if i judge it critically, i will rate it 8.8/10.
