I started watching after ASR entered the show. Whoever writes the character Aryan Singh Rathore, a big salute to them. He is written exactly WHAT ADITYA IS NOT/What ADITYA should have been. A real hero written in the form of Anti hero. I love this character.
Rather I have one ASR with me for the past 19 years, and I can very well relate to the frustration of Imlie, if you are with a MAN OF ACTION who never expresses through words. After 5 years of waiting for my man to confess his love for me, one fine day I had to catch a flight from Delhi to Hyderabad on his birthday, knock his door and yell on his face that Enough is Enough, I love you and Get married to me. It sucks, it really sucks.😒😒
Aditya is impulsive, who is verbal and speaks out what is in his mind. Aditya needs confirmation of acceptance of his behaviour from people around him. He is a reflection of patriarchal society, where woman is considered at a lower level to man and she is supposed to be dependant on a man. He is hurt whenever Imlie takes a decision for herself
Aryan is Clear and focussed. not expressive and believes in action, he expects people around him to trust him through his acts, not worried to justify himself. It is too tough to decode such a person( even today's confession made me laugh). He wants to support and mentor her so that she can take her own decisions. I am curious why he keeps on telling Mentor, as that word also stems from a patriarchal mind.
Clearly Imlie's relation with both are entirely different. Imli is more of her natural self with Aryan and he lets her be on her own. The vacuum created in Imlie's heart by leaving behind AKT is totally filled by Aryan, and I don't see any shadow of AKT also in her mind or thoughts.( I know she is angry and upset with him right now, but it is just a phase)
Makers and writers have done a wonderful work, by introducing a PL, writing him so well that replacing ML by PL was effortless, and show could maintain even after ML quit the show.
I wonder what will be the role of Aditya after the marriage track, whether he will vanish into thin air like Anu and Malini did. If BM and BD will be out or in, Whether Aditya will turn into Malini 2.0(Malini was a very sweet character when we started the show)
Even if they stick to just Aryan and Imlie, and their intricacies of relation, how it grows, how they becomes support to each other, romance and career, how Imlie brings Aryan's inner self out of his dark shell, brings him to light and colours, how Aryan holds her hand and brings back her faith in love and marriage, healing the scars of her past, there is a lot of story to unfold
Time being, we don't need another villain in the story, Imlie herself is in the villain mode in her own story. But I know its ITV and there will be drama and it will be there. I am ready to take it, as long as Arylie can keep me invested in it❤️❤️
👏👏beautiful. right u that salute to writer of Aryan singh rathore character it is vry difernt to write character hero in starting of new show but bringing new character in show n making to top is talent. FK playing character so well but credit go to his creator, dialog writer n all who give him instruction to do that really. n this will be FK most remmbr character for entire life like many actor who r called by the character name even if they paly 100 more character later
