I don't think it was staged...This is the 2nd time Chris made fun of Jada....not saying Will was right .....but....making fun of people's medical conditions should be off limit...

So from what I heard Smith himself was laughing but after seeing his wife upset his demeanor changed decided to smack the guy...

He knew he can get away with it... Or was he so afraid of her, cz he laughed at the joke, wanted to make it up to her?

Yeah who knows what was going on in his mind....still he could have done it differently...I think he was feeling very guilty and his speech was more of a justification about what he did than the award itself.
