OKAYY I FINISHED IT! PHEW!

Can't remember the last time I binge-watched something like this in a frenzy

Obviously I have a lot to unpack and will definitely rewatch and do an episode-by-episode Analysis - perhaps just for Kathony because I literally did not care about anyone else, apart from Edwina.

Violet was lovely, and the little Bridgertons with A was just SQUEEEEEEEE and Benedict was good. Luke T has improved a lot from S1 and he made me care for Benedict, so that's a good thing if his season is going to be next.

And it was nice to see Marina in that little scene and Phillip.

But the rest?

I will forever have a bone to pick with CVD for all the time he wasted on that stupid Featherington side plot when we could have had more Kathony or Bridgerton family or Sharma family...

BUT OVERALL I LOVEEEEDDDD IT!
I know they changed a LOT from the book but Kathony still felt like Kathony to me - JB and Simone understood the assignment so well and ABSOLUTELY NAILED these two characters. My God- the way they emote with their eyes and hands and their whole body - IT WAS A REVELATION!

I'll say this again S2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> S1 in every way.

And KATHONY felt so EPIC to me! I was so rooting for them to get together the way I never did with Saphne. There were times I wanted to reach into the screen and strangle them both at the frustration I was feeling about them and their actions.

And this might be an unpopular opinion, but it makes sense to me how they changed things around from the book.

I went in knowing to keep my expectations low and knew to treat them both as different presentations with the same characters - in fact almost like an AU.

But the way JB and Simone portrayed Kathony felt EPIC to me. Sorry, JQ, I still love Book!Kathony but show!Kathony will be special to me because of these two. They elevated them beyond mere characters to something else!

I agree with all the reviewers that said they were literally holding their breath each time these two were on screen. MANNNNN!!!

Amazing.
I'm a die-hard romantic at heart and I can safely say I cannot remember the last time watching a romance has had my heart soaring and leaping like this.
