Preet had completed her workshop now she was asked to stay at home and wait for the call from the production house when they will start to shoot the dance number. She was annoyed as Minni still attending workshops of acting. Being heroine she was getting more attention from production house and from Neil Oberoi. Preet knew that this was bound to happen but still it stung in her heart that she was the one who actually wanted to become heroine while Minni was the one who was never interested, infact Minni had almost ruined her chance by saying no to Neil Oberoi, inspite of all this, its Minni, who got the once in a lifetime opportunity to be superstar Neil Oberoi's heroine. Why fate is so unfair?

Minni on the other hand had found new confidence in herself that she can pull this heroine act after all. At first she hated it, hated the sight of film sets, her workshops. She felt the odd one out in between all film people but slowly she was learning the skill, the minute details of acting and to her surprise she was actually liking it. Her most favorite part was when Neil will be present on the sets and praise her for her improvement or when he himself recite any dialogue with her or do scenes with her just to give her a feeling how it feels like doing with a real hero of the film.

Minni didnt know why she felt happy whenever Neil praised her performance. She was confused about her growing feelings for him. Why is that she seeks his opinion about small things? Why she hates it when he is not pleased with her dialogue delivery everytime she makes mistakes and why she takes it to her heart to prove him wrong and extract out some good compliments, until then she wont rest. She hated the fact that he tricked her into signing film contract but why she is thrilled to see him perform with her.

After raking her brains a lot, she finally settled with the conclusion that however snobbish, narcissistic, selfish, rude, arrogant superstar Neil Oberoi was but its undeniable truth that he is a master of his craft after all and since he was the one to pull her into this new world about which she knew nothing, he was kind of mentor for her. Whether its about her acting skills or about dealing with media or even a petty issue of what to wear, how to be presentable enough in front of all, she looked towards him for help. Preet and Naeem bi were more than ready to always help her but she didnt know why but she had developed a kind of trust on Neil Oberoi to handle her, help her inspite of being manipulated by him. Naeem bi and Preet were her own but she never had that trust on them.

"Honey! Where were you? I have been told you didnt come today to attend classes? Everything fine?" Neil asked from Minni over phone.

Minni didnt know what made her smile, was it his phone call or the hint of care she heard in his voice. "Yes, actually my mother was not feeling well. Preet and Naeem bi were gone for some auditions and no one was there to look after her so..."

"Oh, ok...how is she? What happened to her?" Neil inquired further.

"Uh...well..wo baat ye hai ki....wo...actually my father came home drunk and phir se wahi tamasha...he pushed her in anger and she hit her head on the table." Minni told the truth. Part of her wanted to hide this ugly truth of her family. Her father Ashok Khurana was nothing but an embarrassment to the family, part of her wanted to yell at Neil too as he once has used Ashok to manipulate her into agreeing for his film but then she thought she cant blame everyone else when her own father was such a pathetic loser who would do anything for money. Right now she was all alone in her house with her sick mother and she wanted to talk to someone.

Neil was silent for more than a minute. MInni thought he disconnected the call. "Hello, are your there?" She asked hopefully.

"Yes...yes...I am here, listening to you. I'll see what I can do to help you." Neil answered and before she could ask any questions, he cut the call.

Neil took a deep breath and scratched his forehead with the back of his thumb. Khatri noticed it and at once understood what that gesture meant. It was one of the perks of being with Neil Oberoi since long time, the man understood Neil Oberoi quite well.

Guessing that it must be something related to that new girl Minni, he asked him about whats the matter. His Neil sir ji was quite concerned about this new girl Minni. He has seen girls drooling over his sir ji, Neil never mind attention from girls, he enjoyed every minute of being a superstar to the core. Girls never bothered him to this extent that he will let out a sigh or take deep breath thinking about them. But he has been obsessing over this new girl Minni more than normal.

"That good for nothing father of her. Haven't we gave him enough money to do as we say?" Neil asked.

"Yes we did, he was successful in convincing Minni ji to do the film." Khatri answered.

"Give him some more money. Now this time, ask him to go away from Minni and her mother's life for good. Minni is a star in making, I dont want people like Ashok around her, she should be free from this family drama." Neil instructed and Khatri nodded like a obedient secretary. He could understand Neil want Minni to concentrate on his film instead of wasting time over her abusive father but somewhere, something told him that its not just about film, was Neil Oberoi feeling guilty of using her abusive father against her, has Neil Oberoi started to care about that girl?

Minni was listening to her instructor when he was telling her about the small nuances while doing a emotional scene. Neil came there and watched her for a while.

"You see, there may be not much dialogues in high emotionally charged scenes always but a good actor also acts with his/her eyes, make use of touch or any kind of physical contact to accentuate the emotion." Instructor made his point.

"Sorry, I didnt get it. Can you elaborate preferably with example please." Minni requested.

Before instructor could have explained anything, Neil gestured him to back off and came in front of Minni. She smiled seeing him after few days as he was busy in his other work commitments.

"I am sorry about your father. I mean I understand what kind of a person he is and still I took his help to make you say yes for the movie. In fact I obliged him monetarily to coerce you. I am a control freak selfish person but I am not a jerk. I know how much you love your mother and....I...hell! I am sorry ok. I promise I'll take care of Ashok from now. He will not bother you or your mother." Neil said as he cupped her face, caressed her cheek with his thumb as if to wipe the unshed tear from her eyes. Minni was so touched by his gesture that as if on a cue her eyes really become moist. She was on the verge of crying and throwing herself in his arms when instructor disturbed them.

"Excellent Neil sir! Aapka toh jawab nahi. Kya performance hai! Minni ji I hope ab aapko samajh aa gaya hoga jo main aapko samjhane ki koshish kar raha tha. The way he held you in his arms, that little caress spoke more than the dialogues." Instructor applauded.

Minni couldnt react for few seconds then she had to take few deep breaths before she could look at Neil to understand that he was really teaching her how to pull of emotional scenes. He was smiling at her but it was more than his typical 'know it all' Neil Oberoi smirk. Somewhere it felt genuine and Minni couldnt deny the fact that she felt nice about what he said. She knew he meant it.

"Chalo aaj ke liye itna kaafi hai. Lets end for today." Neil announced.

"But its too early. I can learn few more things before the day ends." Minni reasoned.

Neil raised an eyebrow at her, "Wow! Look at you. So much enthusiasm for learning acting. Arent you the same girl who used to count minutes so that the class end and you can run to your house?"

"I think I have started enjoying it after all." Minni shrugged.

"Hmm! Thats a nice progress. Now how about you get used to one very important aspect of film industry tonight?" Neil suggested.

"What is that?" Mini questioned.

"Filmy parties, the grand bollywood style bash full of media houses, stars and every important person of this planet." Neil elaborated.

:Filmy party....like the one you threw on your birthday....no way...I will not fit in there in any way....I am actually scared of it. I cant face those camera snaps and all the inquisitive people." Minni was horrified by the idea.

"Oh honey! Now you are gonna be a part of this industry. There is no way you can avoid these parties and besides this, your workshops are almost over and we will be start shooting soon, so its a right time to introduce you to the glam world." Neil explained.

"What! You will introduce me as your new heroine in that party? No...I cant handle this....and its too short notice...I am not ready...I know nothing about it." Minni panicked.

"Do you trust me honey?" Neil suddenly came closer to her and held her by shoulder.

Minni looked at him. She trusted him to guide her through her journey in this glam world. She knew he will not let her fall. "Yes...I trust you." Minni answered looking back in his eyes.

"Then inform your mother about it. You are not going back to your home from here. You are coming with me. I will make sure the industry people will be mesmerized seeing you...the future star, tonight." Neil assured her and Minni, though still feeling nervous but knew Neil would handle this....handle her.
