You know i always felt that if Ram has Stockholm syndrome that he will have it towards nandini.
I think he hold onto vedika bcz she represented a loving and caring part of his life before his father died. She was that part when he had everything he needed to be happy.
Then priya came along forcing him to reality and breaking illusions.
