I was kinda bored with the current lineup of shows i am watching and was looking for a dramatic show so i got to see "The Fiery Priest" i got kinda excited because its a double digit plus high rated show but sadly its not available in 'our' Netflix and i didnt wanted to download it from dramacool because i wanted a great Netflix like experience and then i came across -

Info - The show is an official korean adaptation on super popular american series with the same name.

Concept -

Park Moo Jin (Main ML) is a former chemistry proffessor who now holds the position of a minister of environment. He is ambitionless and has no personal beliefs or political sense. At one morning in his absence, when the cabinet gathers in National assembly, a massive explosion take place shattering the whole building and killing many government officials, ministers and the president himself. In this horrible situation, Park Moo Jin will have to sit and act as the president of south korea according to the article 71, an acting president is a president who replaces the president in his absence. Now he will be chasing the person or group who is responsible for the attack.

Production Quality -

This series has a supremely elite class production quality. Starting from the cinematography, locations, background music, OSTs to the wardrobe, sets etc everything is DOPE ! The show is from 2019 but it will give you the production quality of 2022 KDrama. Everything is dramatic and serpentine here and this goes well with the color filter as well.

Acting, Writing, Direction & Screenplay -

Acting is mindblowing. Total 5 main characters are there. Everybody nails their character like you're watching real people and not actors. I really loved the acting of all the four MLs and only FL (Start Up's 2nd FL). Writing is smooth and convincing. Its a highly complicated show because of the politics language but still the scriptwriting and screenwriting makes it easy. Directions are great make the show very dramatic realistically and screenplay is awesome.

Overall -

The first episode was very engaging, dramatic and realistic. It presented a clear picture to the viewers about the political image of a fictionally close to real South Korea. The explosion scene was the best scene of all the dramatic scenes i had ever watched on a kdrama ever before.

Everybody has a motive and ML is going to be the person who has no ambition right now but soon he will become a national leader.

Also the dark secrets and lies regarding some characters makes it an intriguing watch.

I will rate the first episode 9.5/10.

This is probably the first KDrama i am trying with the political genre.

But nayak was very unrealistic movie with just 1 din ka CM, but yeh wala kaafi realistic lagta hai with 60 days ka limit

And 16 epi hai matlb kaafi detail me hoga unlike nayak movie
