Compared to Fanaa, Spy Bahu has a much more gripping narrative and minute to minute details. At first i was like why did they shown Sejal's past in the beginning itself but then i thought no they are establishing the plot and this is what even happens in kdramas too like Military Prosecutor Doberman / Vincenzo / Mouse etc where the main lead's past is convincingly presented. And the best part about Spy Bahu is the very convincing screenplay which keeps changing and changing everyday like -
Episode - 1 : Drama
Episode - 2 : Romantic Comedy
Episode - 3 : Family Drama
Episode - 4 : Mystery & Suspense
Episode - 5 : Thriller
This is something which i never saw before on any ITV show where everyday genre keeps fluxing. It feels very engaging. This makes the show an engaging romantic comedy espionage thriller.
