I don't think so. He knew all along how his character came across right throughout Shruti track yet they didn't stop giving him scenes where he's put in awkward situation.

Yeah right, they can't be this dumb. People have been also tweeting about it as well as in Instagram. There have been many posts in IF too. It is not possible they do not know what audience is understanding.

They could've tweaked atleast one thing is by showing Shruti not falling for Virat atleast could've done some damage control to his character from that angle & their touchy scenes but... 🥱

On a serious note there is a lot of feedback given which has been ignored and disregarded. So I’m not really sure that these arrogant and over confident people will ever consider any of it. But maybe things have turned for worse for him. And he realised what he has shown has not garnered the intended result and has been perceived differently. Now when the audience themselves are giving ideas to salvage the situation and redeem the character he is just picked up the idea. I doubt if this was initially in his plan of things.
