Jagya and anandi as a couple were a trp favourite. But they managed to introduce and push for shiv and anandi by clearly establishing the ass jagya was and by anandi taking a clear stand against going back to him irrespective of shiv.
Here all of the honhaar patrakar's karnaame are being thopoed on malini. As if he was as innocent, mislead baby. No one has actually called him out for the long list of his shandaar kartoots. Imlie herself cannot bring herself to be disgusted by him. Ek thappad toh padha nahin aaj tak...
The makers want to keep both fandoms in hope and instead are losing both of them because of this wishy-washiness
They really need to pick one ship (either of it) and then draw up everything around that.
@bold: And this might have been what worked earlier! Yes, Aditya was not the perfect male lead, but there was at least a plot and a story line that seemed to be going somewhere, which I think is what kept people hooked. And the chemistry that Sumbul and Gashmeer created helped push things along nicely, with the premise being a relationship that was divinely sanctioned, and the conflict an otherwise upright person starts to face having to constantly choose between love and responsibility!
While the writers did find the proverbial golden goose with Fahmaan replacing Gashmeer as the "male lead", they have lost the plot and are highly confused about how to handle this going forward. If Imlie and Aryan marry, what really is left of the story? If Aditya turns completely negative, like many are predicting he will, there is again the same old story that repeats, excapt that this time, the triangle is Aryan-Imlie-Aditya instead of Malini-Aditya-Imlie. They have brought in too many characters now and don't know now how to keep all of them relevant!
