These were GREAT - thanks for posting @sidnilove! I realize most of the Kishore Kumar songs I've heard are from the 70s, his earlier songs have a completely different vibe. And yay for all the Bollywood classic songs that can be played with a basic D/G/C/A(?) progression! Maybe I can make like Akshu and try some out (never tried playing Hindi songs on my guitar). My AWAAZ is also likely to make someone break into a run - in the opposite direction 🤣🤣

I'm saving my thoughts on The Lost Daughter and also the trainwreck towards which this show and its characters are heading for later when I have more time. I have THINGS to say lol!

The bad fashion choices on this show seem to be spilling over into award show styling as well - did you guys see the outfits on Pranali and HC? Had HC buttoned just ONE more button on his shirt, the look would've gone from sasta to classy. As for Pranali, it's like they were trying to go for Hollywood-edgy and instead just spilled over into 'pretty woman' territory...😒

I do think they are making Abhimanyu into a Kartik. Abhimanyu started off as his own character. It was way way different from Kartik. And if they had maintained that consistency, it would have been decent. But after the confession, they were attempting to make AbhiRa into a Kaira. But all these come out separately as if he is possessed by the ghosts of three different people and haven't gelled together to make it feel like one person with multiple dimensions.

Abhimanyu IS way way different from Kartik, so logically Abhira also have to be different, the mistake they're doing is in making Abhira like Kaira.. That is what doesn't work...otherwise Abhimanyu 's character is ofc different and he isn't bothered about getting family together and stuff like that, bcz he is least concerned with family.. his selfishness, his rudeness, his violence is his own..nothing of kartik in that.. And the romance sequences that are copied are the worst..in that, yes kartik's antics weren't anything to dream about..as the fan girls probably did...But to have someone like Abhimanyu do them is horrible. Lekin Abhi's fangirls also think it's the stuff of dreams no doubt!

See, this is how it goes..it also reinforced many things I believe..by showing the downside of too much individual focus as against social balances..

I don't know..she did choose to have children I think, that too when she had two with such small spacing.. She should've thought it out better, it's not something one can do at whim?
