I felt this too. Haven't anything physically bar that promo from colors and y'alls updates but I could already feel how Fateh's is, looking in as outsider, and Angad, who's realising how valuable he is as a friend to Tejo and how much she needs him as unbiased support. 😭

Someone said new writer, (was it you?) so probably that. I can only speculate, but could be that the new writer doesn't like Fateh. We'll see in some more episodes.

P.S. was it the same person who wrote yesterday's Fateh shout? If yes, this Fateh payback is long overdue and propped up in an inopportune and tragic moment that it seems quite nonsensical.

Angad was there for Tejo and relied on him. She couldn’t detect how she was being played by jasfa for months and forgave jasmine so easily so her forgiving and forgetting what Angad did is expected…she overlooks alot of the past and forgives too easily. She was deeply hurt by Fateh and that’s shown in her action now. Even at the accident scene, she was all like - Fateh get jasmine out, Fateh jasmine isn’t talking. Her caring side kicked in and so did Fateh’s for her but the path they are both on is different for both

Just don’t like where this is headed.

The only and only character that is relatable or feels human in this show is Fateh. With all his flaws, mistakes, love, learning from the past, his redemption to his wish to start a new life, his insecurity everything makes sense. And, only his character is making sense at this moment. Everyone other character is too OTT or unrealistic.

The scene looked like Angad and Tejo are couple and Fateh is the past lover who came to check on with her. Tejo treated him exactly like that. Angad was all over Tejo and she was not a bit uncomfortable that is quite telling coming from her. I don’t know whether she will be equally comfortable if Fateh is consoling Jasmeen, now that he don’t love her anymore.

But coming to the show, well while Tejo character has been written🤪 her being absolutely insane after a certain point, realistically it happens very often that couples who think they've put the past behind, issues keep emerging for a long time. In fatejo case it's still pretty new... In fact they're not even properly in a relationship. The strange thing is tejo forgetting everything the very elaborate torture, incidents, humiliation. Fateh is ignoring that because it's convenient, out brain shields us from unpleasant memories... It absolutely doesn't make any sense why or how she can forget and forgive every incident so quickly.

But that's just it na, we all would react differently so it won't be consistent.

Tejo isn't forgetting tbh, she's perfectly fine with bottling everything, being in denial. As you said, brain shields from unpleasant memories, Tejo is just actively choosing to do that. I remember saying this, she's the kind of person to forgive so she feels less burdened and bury the hatchet because the perpetrator apologized/repents/etc. (i.e. Jasso, Fateh, Angad, Papa Rupi) and doesn't realise it's damaging because it would come bubbling back up like lava when she's overwhelmed.

It's so vastly different from the Sherni Tejo during the first confrontation (ngl, we were spoiled by writers, weren't we?)

But this lava could come out when it's not needed, when it could make things worse, given the current accident track.

Yes, I need and want FaTejo confrontation but not on the base of insecurity and a third angle.

Forget confrontation, writers can't do shit. They will mess that up too.

Tejo’s whole demeanour is pushing me to sympathise with Fateh though what he did with Tejo is unforgivable in my book. He is the only character right now who is justifiable in his behaviour. Also, I think he is going to take the blame for accident and walk off.

i wonder if they wanted to do this from the beginning, by chasing after the 'perfect; actor for the role, by fleshing out his character bit by bit through every track, the same effort doesn't look like it was put for the other characters as much. i wonder if Fateh the character was a brainchild of someone who did not write out the entire story/plot.
