My Chachu asked my mother if she purposely looked at alliances with no sisters. My mother said yes to her devar and even told him that she didn’t want her daughters to go through what she went through because of his sisters. Slowly other chachas caught on to it😆 My mother being the eldest bahu had a miserable in-laws place. If she didn’t have my father’s support, don’t know what she would have done and she was 19 when she got married back in the 70s😕

Hopefully they start with the plan tomorrow. Too much suspense around it 😆

Both my parents have A LOT in common actually hobbies and other stuff wise. Plus they were both 25/26 when they married it was all supposed to be great yk?

Its all well now though. But the stuff we've had to endure. I guess children in these households grow up before time and that's just so sad.

My mother had the worst times with her 2 Nanads, so she said no Nanads for the 3 of us. We all married into a family full of boys.😆

Completely with your mother. I am going to make sure of this for my daughter- if she doesn’t find someone on her own.
