Cats don't get to profit from those competitions. Their owners do.
Ukrainian cats (and other pets), which are now finding safe shelter in Poland and Ukraine's other neighbour countries, never asked to be part of Russia's invasion.
I understand and support the need to impose sanctions on Russia and throttle pro Putin businesses.
But Russia is a huge country with a variety of people and cultures. Many of them do not support Putin. Most Russian restaurants, bakeries, and spas in the west are run by people who intentionally escaped the oppressive USSR regime or Eastern European Jews escaping the holocaust. To target innocent Russians for the actions of Putin is beyond cruel.
Sociocultural connections let Russians interact with the world and see it beyond Putin's propaganda. Cutting them off culturally and socially is going to make future generations more vulnerable to the propaganda machine.

I didnt know that invasion = help in today's world............but in that case even Russia claims that its helping Donetsk and Lugansk against the azov militant groups........there are reports of neo-nazi groups being active in Ukraine, which was reported even by BBC and Al-Jazeera..... so you cannot even say the Russian claim is false...
there is also claims that USA was harboring bio-weapon labs in Ukraine which Russia claims to have destroyed with thermobaric weapons..... This claim cannot be proven though
The point being that there is no reason for invasion and war for any country........... just cause USA calls itself as the police of the world, doesnt mean it really weld its guns and cause immense damage to the civilians as well as pubic property........but what can be expected from a western society that believes in welding power and weapons on BLM and Truckers protest
When you ask for help, you can't very well call it an invasion, can you? All of the instances mentioned, except the 2 pointed out, were when the U.S. was specifically asked to help. And in some cases, as in Syria, America was BERATED for NOT HELPING initially.
Hypocrisy at its finest to then call the U.S. invaders.
Like I said, the world has an easy solution. Don't call the next time around. Spend your own resources and spill your own blood to get out of trouble. Ordinary Americans are sure tired of doing it, only to be called evil. The ones who make money off it are the elites on BOTH SIDES.

All Russian oligarchs are losing everything, they know what they are doing but it's also a dangerous game...if Putin feels this is his end anything can happen.
