No hate to new Aditya 🙄 but when gashmeer was playing adi although how much I hated Aditya character but never felt like skipping scenes but this new guy he don't have any captivating charm... Even mayuri I never skipped her too

All the tripthatis and new adi to block just gives negative vibes throught

Kahaan kasam khayi thi ki theories me ghusnekaich nahi. But after reading this and also rewatching prior to that, I had a similar idea brewing in my mind.

So, we all know after such high energy tandav it's rather difficult to comprehend that Imlie's faith which has been so unshakeable in matters of relationships will so easily lose it over Aditya's words and Aryan's statement.

I like how you pointed out that an impulsive character like Aditya gets beaten the shit out of and doesn't raise a finger, which is weird for him and for Imlie. From a neutral POV, it looks like his attempt to gain Imlie's sympathy by riling up Aryan, who himself is very fragile at the moment. It came across as planned and deliberate, rather than genuine. And hence Imlie asked, aapne haath kyun nahi uthaya, something in those lines.

To be honest, Imlie has a better functioning brain than Aditya in these investigative matters, even though she is so dhuh emotionally. Maybe Aditya has forgotten, but Imlie is also an investigative journalist as well. Or he just thinks when it comes to matters about him, she is an emotional fool, I don't know.

We all know, as much as Imlie is dumb, she is also very smart. It could be that her anger for Aryan and concern for Aditya is a projection for both of them to assume what they want, while she tries to understand the Arvind issue. She has read and seen everything, she has a vague idea about the trauma of the Rathore family. She has seen Arpita's trauma as well. More than Tripathis or Aditya, its Imlie who has lived with the Rathores and spent time with them.

Someone like Imlie who gave the benefit of doubt to Aryan when she did not even know him, losing her trust so easily, is weird. Imlie in a few moments recognized that Aryan was not a criminal and not the owner of the fight club, so how will she lose that instinct so easily I don't know.

So don't know about marriage and how much of a forced scenario it will be, but what I do feel is Imlie is planning to gift something else altogether on her birthday to Aditya Kumar Tripathi

TBH, I don't yet feel like Imlie's faith has wavered as such. I mean, I loved Aryan exploding at Aditya and the always respectful "Mr. Tripathi" fading away for a bit, it was a very human reaction. He saw Aditya aggressively grabbing at Imlie and her pulling away, recalled the wrong telecast, and was already triggered with thoughts of revenge and Aditya taking Imlie away due to coma nightmare, so the blow up made perfect sense.

But that's from our perspective, in the show itself, it looks soooo unprovoked, Aryan comes across kinda deranged. Which is why even Narmada and Arpi are so shocked and upset, not just Imlie.

As for Imlie, she JUST defended him so vehemently, and Aryan inadvertently handed Aditya a chance to say "I told you so" to her, so obviously she isn't going to react positively to this. The second she said "I know he has no vengeful motives" she was being set up for this moment, and it just came veryyyy quickly.

I like that she's talking to him in the precap, and straight up asking what's up. I understood her fear of not wanting to accuse him like Aditya accused her, but asking questions is part of healthy communication. I also liked how the statement we got from her wasn't "how dare you take revenge" or "why did you use me" but "is this really going to be your purpose in life?" She always felt like he had some grander purpose (refer conversation where she said she can't think of him falling in love) and is like, seriously, THIS, is your grand purpose?

At least that's what I'm reading so far into the scene. Baaki toh, 15 second ka precap from an entire conversation doesn't tell much, but so far I get where she's coming from.

But this is also a universe where the police apparently investigate false weather reports, toh main pata nahi kyun sar khapa rahi hoon apna 😂🤡
