the three chin dots are tribal tattoos, sometimes to ward off evil eye, in tv they just use it as short hand for ~tribal~ background

And then there was trying to run after her and catch her in a playful way somewhere in the Tripathi house - it ended with her hiding under the table when Malini almost caught them- soooo cringe because AKT was still legally married to her (this was the first wedding, pre everyone finding out about Imlie-AKT wedding).

I think the relationship started under such a burden of pain and lies that it never seemed healthy even when they were...cute? Always had an undercurrent of dominant parent- innocent child vibes (that sounds yucky to even type out).

Aryan and Imlie have always had trust, honesty and care and that changes how their 50-50 partnership feels like. They chose to treat each other as equals and a romantic relationship between equals is just so much nicer (read...hawt AF).

That what i always felt and why i never watched the previous part. It really gave me the yucky vibes of a dominant imposing father with a growing naive child.

With ASR even with the age gap he never treated her like a child even if she tease him mischievously. She was always an equal in thoughts and he empowers her to know her worth as a woman and an intelligent person. Not like as a village girl or as a servant.
