What a contrast. Aditya regards Aryan a new found enemy so he literally poured water on Imlie's prayers and well wishes for Aryan and in doing so basically condemned or willed Aryan to die. Aryan on the other hand knew Aditya was his sworn enemy yet risked his life and limb (several times) to keep Aditya alive. Aryan even shot a guy for Aditya. Seems even simple humanity for humanity's sake has been abandoned by Aditya.

The water pouring scene was actually stretching his insensitivity beyond the threshold.

Not only what you said it means regards to aryan

It also re-iterates how less Aditya cares about imlie's faith.

She has always had faith in their marriage without hopes and expectations, and he's never respected that.

It's always been convinient option with him, whatever narrative makes him the hero in his eyes, is the one he choses to believe and re-enforce on others.

However the fake to real wedding plays out, one thing I'd said after the promo came out and which seems they're heading towards is, Aryan will himself say that he's out for revenge against AKT (and he's used Imlie – if he wants to go extreme) but Imlie will not believe him. She will be hurt that he's not trusting her with his reasons for the marriage/the truth of the drama, but won't really be mad at him for forcing her to get married. The way this can play out is he's forcing her to make the fake marriage real to protect her and she can see that very clearly. So she doesn't really have a reason to hate him. (Though given the kind of beautiful understanding these two have developed, none of the forced trope is needed because they can well talk about any damn issue and sort it out/tackle it ala 50-50 style, but then how will we get the angst and drama.😆)

Also, just like today when Aditya said Aryan is not your friend and Imlie had flashes of all the times Aryan has said the same thing to her, I'd love a scene where Aryan says he was selfish and used her but she gets flashes of all the moments when he told her that he will never use her for his revenge. That kind of a scene will be gold because it will just reiterate how strong Imlie's trust in him is.

Also, parallels-wise, it would be amazing to see Imlie trusting Aryan even after his masochistic confession as opposed to how Aditya never trusted her despite knowing her so well.

However, before any of the forced drama plays out, I'm really looking forward to the fake marriage trope because we're all putting our hopes on Imlie for initiating that.😆Hoping Bhau doesn't make a royal popat of us with the fake marriage trope being non-existent in the actual track. 🤣

Lovely performance by ST - the music and her performance gave me goose bumps👏.. I'm a huge sucker for maa durga, mahadev (all gods in general) powerful music and dance performances so this was just amazing for me to watch.

I know that Aditya has a jaundiced view of religion but who goes into a place of worship and deliberately pours water on someone else's faith? That borders on religious intolerance.

Even Aryan shares his disillusionment in God but accepted Imlie's aarti and respected her self declared temple in the Bhaskar Times office. Plus he bought her the mother of all idols and even prayed to Sita Maiya for her after four years of not praying.

In the above I'm appreciating Aryan in case there is any doubt.
