I don't doubt the fact that Monami understands Karan atleast more than she ever did if not completely. The thing is, I doubt if she will be keeping up with the understanding attitude for the rest of her life (assuming they are meant to be😂😂). In defence families, though we understand that the other person can't tell us everything we tend to feel like he/she isn't truthful in the relationship. You see, Monami here will share everything with Karan but Karan, due to his duty demands wouldn't even if he wants to. She is definitely understanding now, but I am afraid what the future holds. How much ever we try or Karan tries, in this relationship, Monami will have the major role of being the understanding partner the one who backs off when required. This is what the writers will have to deal with. Yaha jis spead pe inki gadi nikali hai, I am afraid speed breaker pe jhatka milega inhe if they do not pull up the brakes.
I think as their relationship gets older, Monami will only get more understanding rather than less (unless there is an external influence), and accept it more easily that there are a lot of things Karan can't tell her.
Reasons I think so:
1. Monami is training to be a commando. When she is eventually completely trained, even she might be sent on missions without Karan as her boss or leader, and there might be times when she can't tell things to Karan too.
2. Monami is childish right now. She has been raised in a very shielded environment (like Sid) and both of them have (at the back of their mind) a very strawberry world. When, eventually, they go on more and more missions, they'll harden a little, becoming more mature, seeing the reality that not everything is like their world.
3. I have seen hints of her keeping that practical side over her emotional side. Of course, it's still in the making and it will be a very, very long process but there definitely have been instances.
For example, when Faizi was injured and Monami still tried to get him to speak who was the attacker. She didn't pause and say 'Faizi injured hai. Aise kaise?' She understood what was the priority.
Another being that when Karan told her Sid was missing, she didn't panic. Yes, Karan was calming her down and soothing her but when it comes to Sid, she rarely stops to listen to even Karan before panicking but she was calmer and just determined.
When they were caught by KD, she gestured to Bala that it wasn't a good idea to try and snatch for his gun. It was a good practical analysis that it won't do any good.
I think she is slowly becoming more practical, especially during missions and that'll eventually flow into her personal life too. 'Karan kaam kar raha hai. Monu, tujhe bura lag raha hai, theek hai, par kaam zyaada important hai.'
4. Sid himself being in the same position as hers would yank her back to the right path if she ever strays. We have already seen how much Sid's words influence her toh if she ever strays, Sid would be right there to tell her that she's being an idiot. Sid is definitely super patient and understanding, more so than Monami, especially when it comes to Sanju.
5. After this track, if Monami is in trouble because Balli and Dhanu had targeted her because of Karan, she'll (I think) understand that Karan wants to keep her away as much as he could because he doesn't want to put her in danger.
Ab end mein kuchh aur hi dikha dein toh kya hi kar sakta hai koi. Par I don't think that'll be an issue ki Monami yeh feel karti hai ki Karan uske saath truthful nahi hai. I find her more understanding than ever and I see it as an uphill journey.
