It's the changing Dynamics between MaAn now, highlighting more on their physical intimacy.

Simple temple marriage would be beautiful as they both don’t need all the thaam jaam… as pure their love is the marriage too will be beautiful and in essence if they keep it simple.

It’s good that he didn’t mask his disappointment and hurt.usually he masks it quite well but unlike other times, it’s shown in his face to her. His disappointment and her hurt if not telling him might have compelled all the emotions to flow out when they were alone.
