I'm sure my husband thinks the restrictions are all on his side and I'm having a lark.

It’s the perspective of the two sides na. Compromise toh dono ko karna padta hai and if both understand this about the other it's good and easy. But if the girl is going to be thinking that she's got the short end and the guy thinks she's better off and he's bearing the burden then conflict toh hoga hi..

So Eka since you have a great BF and you do see yourself marrying him in some time it'll be good if you don't start off by thinking you're going to be the loser in the marriage and the guy's going to get everything and you're doing it only for him.

(I have a couple of friends who married young and every time I visit them, I do feel a little envious - they seem to have it completely together and are such a team. I just don't know if that's perception or reality...)

See. We might be irritating her or not. But austen, if your marriage is happy and amazing cool. Amazing for you.😍

But no, I will keep opposing everyone who tries to sell me marriage as something good. I am not taking it. 🤣

Because it is the nature of the institution. It doesn't matter what we think. By nature and structure, marriage is an oppressive institution. Oh, I am going to make sure I don't end up as the loser and I won't shouldering responsibilities I don't want. 😂

Reality hai.. Marriage is good, really with a good man who loves and supports you. It's cliche but it's better getting older with a loving partner than getting older alone yaar. Fact.

This I agree. But you can still grow together without being tied down by something like marriage, right? Why is it necessary to be legally bound?

It is also true about it becoming difficult finding someone. All my friends find it really difficult to meet guys now itself, even after graduation. University period is the best time to find people, I guess.

I think marriage actually confers and safeguards a woman's rights.. So it's safer than live-in.. If it doesn't work out, the option to leave is always there.. And it's easier in this age.
