I think because by the time Kat came on the scene, the Bhai transformation was complete and he'd begun phoning it in the romance department. He looked totally bored in all his romantic scenes with everyone. In fact I doubt he's done any romcoms/romance scenes with Kat. Has he?

In recent times, he had good chemistry with Sonakshi in the first Dabang, but that's about it.
