Winnie, thank you for bringing this game to us and giving me the opportunity to work with Bee and Amekha as a team for the first time. It has to be the best game partnership I have had in a game. I just read through the thread i've been busy all day, seems like you all have too... But oh well host wanted a specific answer and the think outside of the box teams 👏would have got it👍🏼😆 (not the smart ones here)

I'll be honest I don't know what or who Jehangir was or how it connected the pictures🤣 My knowledge of India isn't great.

But I can see where confusion can be made I suppose the pictures were not direct enough for a person to think about their children without showing the children:

The picture of Aishwarya in Character (I only found out now that the character in M-E-A is suppose to be her son😆 and his name was Jehangir) There was not child in this movie so my brain would not go this far to think "oh it could be their kid"

Kareena's wedding picture was a bit far fetched that one would get her sons name from that its a bit long distance. The wedding picture seems like her joining that family. If it was specific of her son or family then ok connection can be made but it only showed her. Also she don't even call her son by the full name its always Jeh this Jeh that😒

Jehangir and birthplace like I said before I don't know what Jehangir was until I saw the answer how will I know where they were born.

Shreya Please Don't leave. Being a host you should understand Mono's state. Do you remember that in last crazy couple game in that emoji round. One of the emoji pair had two possible answers but you did not accept our answer. I requested you but you did not accept. And i respected your decision. In Holmes S3 that Murderer Round was unfair, which took chance for few to win the game but still We all played that game because we love your games and love you as host.

Games main yeh sab chalta rehta hai. This game is of Mono. She owns it so she has right to accept or reject our answer.

Adding to what Prabs said, I just wanna state how we came to the conclusion of Mughals for Answer #2. This in no way means any disrespect to the host.

When I first saw the pictures, the only people I recognised in that frame was Prince Salim, Jodha and Kareena Kapoor. Then we started a group discussion and everyone agreed on that.

Now, Kareena does not belong to the Mughal family, either by birth or via marriage. The Pataudis are a Pathan tribe from Kandahar, Afghanistan, whereas the Mughals were a branch Timurid dynasty consisting of Turco-Mongol origin related to Timur Gurkani and Genghis Khan.

So she was the odd one out. Yet, we kept on decoding based on the other images.

Since none of us knew which architectural structure it was (we were thinking either Lal Killa and Badshahi Mosque), I Googled "red architecture during Mughal period". Because by now we knew a Mughal connection is there coz of Jodha, Salim (a snapshot from Mughal-E-Azam) and the architectural design.

That's how we figured then it was Buland Darwaza, built by Akbar (a Mughal king). Thus, Mughal seemed to be the common theme.

Now personally, why I was sure it was Mughal was because:

1. There was no mention of Jahangir in J-A...and at that time in the film, if I remember correctly, he wasn't even shown, named or was born.

2. Coming to Kareena, I knew that her photo was taken during her marriage because that outfit she has worn is the Pataudi bridal heirloom which had been passed down since generations. So at a point, I even asked my team mates if it was "vivah or nikkah"...since Jodha was also a bride in the films. But then Kareena had a registered court marriage, not a religious one, and MeA was basically a tragedy (Salim-Anarkali).

3. The one very simple connection that the entire team made was "Buland Darwaza was built by Akbar, whose wife was Jodha, whose son was Salim". This theme itself has Mughal as the common notion since the photo had Shehzade Salim, not Shahenshah Jahangir. Prince Salim only gained that name when he became emperor.

4. The name Jehangir is predominant and very popular in the Parsi community since it is a Persian name. You will still find lots of Parsis and Iranis with this name till date. It has spelling variants like "Jahangir" (used in the subcontinent) or "Cihangir" (Turkish). So the name isn't synonymous to Mughals as its origins lie elsewhere. There have been popular personalities with the same name, like:

Jehangir Ratan Dadabhoy Tata: a Parsi enterpreneur, aviator and former chairman of the Tata Group.

Shehzade Cihangir: the youngest son of Sultan Suleiman and Hurrem Sultan (Haseki Sultan) of the Ottoman Empire.

5. The entire Jehangir name controversy did not strike me because it was not the same as when Saif-Kareena named their first born Taimoor. By the time she was expecting for the second time, people were already making memes or jokes or trolling with regards to the name, knowing that it would be something controversial. There are multiple reasons as to why naming Taimoor was more controversial than Jehangir, but that's not the focus of this answer.

So, Buland Darwaza (built by Akbar, a Mughal), Jodha Bai (married into the Mughal empire), Shehzade Salim (son of Akbar and a Mughal prince).

Since that was the major common theme, we went with it.

The times I played Shreya's game, I had found many times that there are two probable answers which are possibly right. But since I respect host decision and I know that by winning it I won't get any medal, I ignored it & not behaved the way few did behave here. This shows immaturity & adamancy at various levels. Even last round of couple game was very unfair to be honest, but still we had accepted it as it's a host decision in the end.
