I have also taken a break from the show, tried reasoning with myself to watch last weeks episodes in FF mode but I don’t think I will be able to enjoy if I have to forward 15 mins and pick 5 mins. So cannot comment much on what has happened in the last week.
what I want is beautiful scenes like the one she comes in the rain to sign the pre-nup, i could feel the pain that both of them were going through.
Scenes like the one in the bakery after the Silver moon hot fiasco… not sure how many times I watched that interaction. I was spell bound at the writing and the way the scene was enacted.
Scene in their bedroom after Ram collapses, she is crying and he senses it without even looking at her…again watched it in loop to absorb each and every expression. Just enjoyed it.
the hug on the morning of his birthday…totally mesmerising.
Hospital scene, the hug… absolutely spellbounding
Diwali scene.. where he says “ apni Care Karne ki punishment may do yaar”…
Funny scenes like… their first interaction at her home.. or the date the restaurant when he tries to fix her up with Kunal 😆
Every scene was a progression in the story and in their relationship.
What I don’t want is physical intimacy just for the sake of
it, not needed, let it be organic let it grow and things would fall in place.
Hoping the date night, rain scene, any celebration festival is not patchy and thrusted, like the BFF one… m
It looks disconnected.
If only we could make the CV’s understand you do not need dozens of negative characters to progress a story. Let the villains also have some self respect, some life goals other than breaking up the leads… and some decent plans and plots.
Not asking for much, I am sure. These were the same writers and CV’s who could give the above scenes then I am sure they can do much better and give us the same show back.
