True , the original version had regional viewership whereas this version has more mass following inc all age groups . Plus Indian audiences are known to be quite sensitive, remember that hullah when Mihir Virani died and they had to bring him back .. AK character + GKs and Maan’s popularity makes it doubtful they can follow that track ...
