I think i get it. My best friend at work is also from Hyderabad and (pre-pendamic) most of the times she was surprised to see what subji I brought for lunch! and I hadn't heard ghoghura and few other things she cooks!
dont think its very popular in the South or may be it is but I havent heard of it much when I was there…yahan toh I dont cook sabjis apart from the usual gobi, lauki, bhindi, aloo, baingan…tbh I hardly cook, he does😳 and desi he can’t and won't.
I agree and disagree. He did cook at home even when he was richie rich, and even didn't have any house help. He has lived all the materialistic luxuries in his life but never had companionship. He craves simplicity… that’s what they are trying to portray it seems

Completely agree. It kinda seems being domesticated n middle class is being pure n having money makes you evil, like they r showing parallels between V n Anuj
