When I say his politics, I just don't mean his party politics but generally his ideology. And of course he is a good writer and orator, but I don't really find anything interesting in what he has to say most of the time.

He just blames the Birtish for everything that is wrong as if that's the only problem we ever had. I hate pseudo liberals like him. 🙄

Oh I did find his speech about reparations a little problematic. But you know how we like to dwell in what if scenarios. I think he just plugged into our wishful thinking of what if the British hadn't come to India..then we would have been extremely wealthy and we would've flourished...as if India had no other issues internally and only British is responsible for all our problems over the years 🤔

Intoxicator, I just noticed that you tagged me about Anupama and which episode to watch from. I will advise you to skip at least the first 80 episodes. Those are all about Anupama being spineless and her husband having an affair behind her back with his colleague who is also a family friend and Anupama adores her 🤔

That colleague's husband also tells her that her husband and his wife are having an affair and she doesn't believe him..she says he's my pati parmeshwar and he can do no wrong Anupama's best friend and warns her that her husband is having an affair and she brushes that off too..So, if you want to avoid this drama..best to start from just before the affair khulasa so start from around episode 87..episode 89 is the parda faash.

You know I really like that everything is not so black and white in the show. The husband never loved Anupama and when he meets this colleague (kavya)..he genuinely falls in love with her. He's not a womaniser. Kavya also loves him. I've watched around 150-200 episodes and there's a love-hate relationship that I have with many of it's characters. It gives me food for thought. 😊

Austen I haven't even reached the point where Anuj makes an entry 😆 and I still like the show a lot..
