Abhimanyu is an odd duck character - the only explanation is he truly has become a deewana in the literal sense because of his love. And if so, you're right the portrayal can't be faulted but man, it's so tough to digest that character...

So, question - if the first tilak hadn't gone so horribly wrong and he and Akshu had got married without any of the drama, would his personality have stabilized? Keeping in mind that he went nuts basically from the point he drew that heart with that AA in it and then ran like a madman and threw himself down a bunch of steps (an inexplicable choice by the writers considering where Akshu's trauma comes from😲)

I don't think stabilized.. The time for that was past.. He is set.. It would just have come out in different ways, maybe in his married life, with Akshu bearing the brunt of it.

As a doctor, Abhimanyu is being criminally negligent and callous if he figured out BP was on the verge of a heart attack and still did all this drama. He absolutely should've told Akshu that they needed to put off any conversations till they had him medically checked out. His behavior is not only inexplicable in light of his being a cardiac surgeon but also incredibly selfish and cruel.

there is zero chemistry in the acting or base for this love story you can't even feel anything for this JOKE NIBBA NIBBI couple

and quite frankly the BG music they play makes them a LAUGH RIOT

he also did this when he pulled that SPIDERMANYU STUNT right after AKSHU got discharged from the hospital

make a barely recovered patient who had VOCAL CORD surgery with a BUTTER KNIFE panic and SCREAM at the top of her lungs

I think you'd like some of the episodes - White Bear is a good one. Arkangel is another. The Waldo Moment (which turned out to be eerily prescient for the US). And there's one about a society in which everyone's standing is determined by points from social media likes whose name I'm blanking on.

The S1 first episode is weird and off-putting.

I love Urdu..it sounds so nice. In lockdown I was addicted Turkish and Pakistani shows..after watching them I felt like I had mastered Urdu and Turkish 😆..After some gap, I couldn't remember anything that I had learned during that phase 😛

For instance, I read this (where I don't remember)

Someone in a motor vehicle accident ended up killing a kid, and the parents were given the opportunity to decide the punishment and they chose to make the person pay for the funeral and make them spend the day the child died, in prison for the rest of their life. It felt apt to me, instead of just letting them rot in jail and not learn anything from it.

It's like that one day every year, they realise the depth of the wrong they committed.

True. Punishments have to be customized.. But I don't think the realization and tadap can be made to be felt, no matter what, from the outside.The suffering has to come from inside, you know? And what can guarantee that do you think?

What I mean is those who do wrong and realize their mistakes voluntarily repent and try to put things right. But those who don't, can punishments really make a difference?
