I don't expect Imlie to go back to Aditya ever because she is clearly over him and she won't be a flipper in this matter. But Aditya doesn't know that. For him, it will be easy to think that because her delusions about Aryan's perfections are shattered, it will be easy for him to play her.

As to Aditya not pursuing Imlie with Malini pregnant, that's just a reason for the heck of it. Aditya ne kab kisika lihaaz rakha hain jo is bacche ka rakhega. 😆
