Counter point on how they could resolve this issue:

The problem is Vanraaj getting by so easily is not the problem. Can happen in real life. That it is not always that bad people get punished. Happens. 😕

The issue is why so much importance to the a character that the story is not even about.

Heck he even had a match in Kavya that is like him. Hence even there he got lucky. 🤪

Maybe if he was made a comedic villian or something. Its understandable he will be part of Anu's life as they share children. But why do they simply add him to Anu or Anuj's personal life?

Waise I call it BS. You feel for someone and u express it. Everyone has a different perspective and noone I repeat noone has a right to judge what is appropriate and what is not. It is between you and your partner what you are comfortable with before marriage. And offcourse u take responsibility of your actions but at the same time she can not call it maryada. Not needed that gyan here. That poor guy has waited for her love for 26 yrs, least she can give him is a hug and she also loves him right. but she cares more to be mahaan in front of her not so loving family.

I mean there is a regressive mindset for sure in it as Vanraaj did live with Kavya too, along with the affair.

Plus people are so busy nowdays or online, does anybody care what others are doing? 🤪
