The biggest punishment for any person who has done something wrong is not to simply make them powerless but by remorse. The true realisation that they have been so awful and an actual repentance for it. I want Vanraj to be made to realise each of his faults and feel true repentance for it after of course he loses everything.

If they could manage to pull a descent redemption track for Vanraj the character with Anu and Anuj achieving highs and Vanraj hitting lows with actual punishment and genuine remorse that would be something which will definitely bring back what is slipping from this show.

That way the characters would remain relevant in appropriate way, the message that people signed up for, gets delivered which will bring adulation back. It's a win win, but if anyone is not comfortable or capable of playing a non flashy repenting character then....... well.....
