Hey everyone,

I am so sorry I was extremely busy in the last few days that I didn't get the time to write nor the inspiration. The chapter is also shorter than usual but if I don't post it now then you will have to wait for a week. So isn't it better to have a shorter one than nothing ?

About the chapter, it's a random one. Not much happening apart from SaiRat falling in love deeper and Morishma becoming the next SaiRat. Strong and each other's supporter.

LunRat are back too but not sure if you will like it.

I am hoping to write better upcoming chapters. Till then bear with this one.

I don't know if the sentences make sense but I don't have much time to proofread. Soooorry !

Harini called her favorite mamu and pleaded with him to take her on a picnic. He agreed and planned something out with Sai. They spent the entire sunday with her. They shared food on the grass which was prepared by Ashwini. They played games, had activities and discovered the beautiful nature. Harini tried to bring them closer with her naughtiness and by teasing them.

Mohit and Karishma decided to use Virat's gift and went on a weekend trip. He was extremely happy with this new Karishma who was trying to make her relationships better with the people who mattered to him. She was also happy to see the new Mohit who was treating her like his wife. He took her in different restaurants and roamed around from one place to another. He was finally able to afford things on his own thanks to Sai who pushed him to pursue his dreams and Virat who taught him how to be a man. They went to the shopping center to buy gifts for the entire family. This was one of the rare times he was buying things for his family with his own money. Karishma spotted a nice shirt and was lost in thoughts. She wished she had pursued her studies instead of getting married or had the courage like Sai to pursue it after the wedding. If she had a job she could have bought the shirt for her husband with her own money.

« I miss dancing. », she said while they were having dinner at a restaurant.

Mohit went back to his old memories. They met during a play where she played the character of a dancer. If she was a good actress then she was ten times a better dancer. But everything ended abruptly when they got married. She had to follow the rules of the Chavan family and be the perfect daughter-in-law. Both of them where already under pressure not only for getting married secretly but also because of him being jobless. Slowly he saw the change in her from a lively and funny girl into a gossip queen. A bad side of her that he hated so much. She became that typical Chavan bahu. Now he was slowly getting that old Karishma back, the one he had fallen in love with.

Later that night when everyone was upstairs Virat and Sai turned on the television in full volume. Everyone came down including Mohit and Karishma. Mohit's first episode of the show was airing on television. He was in the character of a scientist. Everyone sat down to watch.

« Not bad but how long will the show last ? What after that ? Will you be lucky enough to play in another show or will your career be over ? », Bhavani asked.
« Kabhi toh positive baatein kya kijiye kaku. Kaal kisne dekha. Kya pata mein kaal superstar ban jaoon. », Mohit said with a smile.

She shook her head and left. Omkar and Ninad followed her. Shivani, Ashwini and Mansi congratulated him and blessed him. Sonali for once surprised him by complimented his acting.

A few days later Sai was busy with her studies for an exam. In the middle of the night Virat went to the kitchen to get something to eat. Karishma was already there making parathas for Mohit who came late from shooting.

« Do you want me to make parathas for you too dada ? », she asked.
« Yes but let me help you. », he replied.

She rolled the parathas and he toasted them while having a fifteen minutes long conversation. He realized that Karishma wasn't just a brainless girl always busy looking for drama. She could be a nice person too. This was a different Karishma he came to know ever since she and Mohit were married. Karishma went back to her room with the food where Mohit was waiting impatiently.

« I have something to tell you. Do you remember about choreographer Vihaan ? He opened a dance academy last year. », he said while starting to eat.
« Wow that's nice. It was his dream project if I remember it correctly. », she replied.
« One of the dance professors of the academy is getting married and taking a break for a month. He needs someone for the replacement. I have spoken to him about you and he wants to meet you. », he said.
« What ? Noooo !!! I haven't danced for three years. I have almost forgotten how to dance. And what will your family say ? They will kill us. », she replied.
« You will have at least two weeks training to get back to dancing. Don't worry about the family. If you are hired we will talk to them. », he said.

Karishma wasn't sure about it and thought till the next day. They left the house early morning without informing anyone. Vihaan was pleased to work with her again. She accepted the offer but was tensed the entire time on her way back home. Both Mohit and Karishma waited for Virat's return to announce the news. In case if things go out of hand Virat can handle the situation. As expected the elders exploded after listening to Mohit and Karishma.

« No. Karishma won’t go anywhere that too to dance. », Bhavani refused categorically.
« She will. Every woman deserves to be independent and do what makes them happy. If Karishma wants to give dance classes then she will. », Virat said.
« One useless bahu is enough in the family. I won’t allow another one. », Bhavani replied.
« I will see how you stop Karishma from doing what she wants. Don’t force me to go against you for women’s rights. », Virat warned her.
« Now you will also threaten me ? », Bhavani asked.
« Not only threaten you but also take action against you. », Virat replied.

Virat’s eyes met with Karishma’s who whispered him a « Thank you ». Mohit smiled and took her upstairs. Once in the room Karishma screamed with excitement and happiness. Even a year ago things wouldn’t have been possible but now it is different since Sai is in the house. During the initial days she was certain that Sai would bring the change but she was still too stupid to side with the wrong people. She regretted for not supporting Mohit from the beginning because she always wanted to see him as a strong individual.

Sai was lovingly gazing at Virat. She was falling in love with this man every day a little more who not only always stood by her but also supported everyone who needed him. She was happy for Karishma. This new Karishma was synonym to women’s empowerment. From an immature gossip queen she turned into a mature and sweet person ready to be independent. Virat’s eyes met with Sai’s who seemed lost in him.

« How did your exam go ? », he brought her out of her reverie.
« Awesome ! », she replied.

Karishma joined her training. She wanted to do something to thank Virat and Sai. When she shared her idea of decorating their room with candles and roses with Mohit, he really liked the idea and accepted to help her.
Virat and Sai were surprised and embarrassed too. They read the note left by Mohit and Karishma and decided to enjoy their moment. Between deep and meaningful conversations and eating the chocolates left by the organizers, they didn’t know when they fell asleep holding each other. The next morning when Virat woke up while she was still in his arms, he wanted to take his courage in both hands and confess his love to her. He got up and took a shower and waited for Sai to get ready. When she came back from the washroom he took a deep breath and stood in front of her.

« I want to tell you something. », he started. « I… I…I… », he couldn’t say a word.
« You what ? », she asked.
« Nothing. », he gave up.

Before dropping her off to her college he tried to talk to her but again he couldn’t say more than « I ». Sai gently laughed at him. She too thought about him the entire day and wanted to tell him that she was crazily falling in love with him but she was scared of a heartbreak.

Samrat bumbed into Luna at the airport while waiting for his flight. She was happy to see him relieved that soon he will be free from a loveless marriage. He also told her that after the divorce he will work on his relationship with his brother.

« That's good. You deserve someone better who will love you for the amazing person you are. », she said.
« Honestly I am not looking for anyone anymore because the one I wanted I couldn't get her. », he replied.

She felt like the one he was talking about was her but then brushed it under the carpet. He wasn't in love with her anymore. She was brought out of her thoughts by the announcement of the flights being canceled due to the weather. They first booked a hotel and then spent the day with each other. Later that night they ended up at the pub and after a few drinks he couldn't get hold on his emotions anymore.

« Moon I love you. », he said drunk.
« Shut up. Zip your mouth. », she said.
« Yeh feelings bhi kya cheez hai na ? It f*cks you up any time. Ten years later I am falling in love with you all over again like our college days. », he confessed.
« Sam stop please. », she requested. « You deserve so much better. I have a messed up life. I can't give you the happiness you deserve. », she added.
« Is your life more messed up than mine ? I don't think so. I fell in love with my best friend and couldn't even confess. When finally I decided to move on, from all the women in the world I had to choose my brother's ex. I was cheated by a woman and my own brother. Now tell me who is more messed up ? », he asked.

She called a cab and brought him to the hotel. She took him in her room to keep an eye on him. He fell asleep as soon as she laid him down on the bed. She lay down on the other side of the bed but couldn't fall asleep.
The next day he opened his eyes and found a Luna already ready to leave. Taking her luggage she walked out of the room. He leaped up and ran behind her.

« Moon wait. », he found her outside the hotel.
« Luna. It's Luna. », she corrected him angrily.
« Where are you going ? », he asked.
« To the airport. If there is no flight then I will take the train or bus but I can't stay with you here anymore. », she said.
« I am sorry. », he said.
« Oh you remember. Great. », she replied sarcastically.
« I love you Moon. », he confessed.
« Stop ! », she said.
« You can't stop me from loving you whether you love me or not. Ten years Moon. Ten years since I am holding it inside me but I can't hide it anymore. », he pulled her against him.
« I know and I wish you continued to pretend like I was just your teenage crush. », she said.
« You knew ? Why didn't you tell me anything ? », he asked holding her tighter.
« Sam... listen... our friendship is too precious. Let's forget what happened yesterday and get back to how we used to be. I don't want to lose you. », she said pushing him away gently.
« We will always be friends Moon but we can be something else too. », he said.
« I don't love you Sam. And you don't love me either. You just want to escape from your wife. », she replied.

He knew that she might not love him but she definitely liked him or else she would have said it from the starting instead of waiting for the last moment. She wouldn't be trying to convince him that she wasn't the right person for him. She wasn't just telling him but she was also convincing herself that she can't let her heart be weak. He watched her get in a cab and then returned to the room.

The Chavans were surprised seeing Samrat back without informing them. He wanted to get the divorce papers signed by Pakhi who was still refusing to sign them. During his three days stay he saw the changing dynamics of the house. Mohit and Karishma were different. Virat and Sai were happy. Bhavani was angry that things weren't going her way. He envied his brothers who were showing their growth while he remained the same old Samrat.

This was the first time that Samrat and Luna didn't contact each other being in the same city. They would get out of touch during their missions for weeks and months but always found each other when at the same place. Luna repeated in her mind that she has no time for love and no time for making her own family. Samrat cursed himself for the confession. For years his drinking habit accompanied him in his good and bad phases of life mike a best friend but it was the first time ever that it acted like an enemy and betrayed him.
