Words cannot describe how angry I am at Manish after today’s episode. After calling the police and creating a scene, all he was worried about is what society is going to think. He should have himself thought about this before taking such a drastic step. Today, Abhi was not wrong. He was extremely respectful to the police officer and said he did not do anything wrong. The police officer encompassed the corruption that is embedded in law enforcement - he was taunting Abhi, but he still remained calm. Kariav and Vansh both spoke up for Abhi today too. It is a much welcome change, as all of the Goenka children are uniting (leaving aside Aarohi).

Akshu broke open the gates and ran to Abhi… she cannot see him getting insulted. She stopped him from losing his anger, and he immediately complied. Why? Because he did not want to worry her. Even as he was being dragged away, he was reassuring her. Akshu ran after Manish’s car, begging him to stop, but he did not listen…instead, he told her that if she comes to the station, he won’t return home. This is the final phase of Akshu’s transformation into Parvati. Manish is Daksh insulting Shiv, and Akshu will not stand for it. Pranali stole the show today when she was beating the boxing bag out of anger… she told Kariav that she can tolerate anything, but not this. The girl who is able to suppress all of her pain is not able to see her love in pain. Abhira are truly lucky to have each other. Kariav and Akshu were Naira’s kids today…supporting each other through everything. Kariav will fight for Abhira now. That is crystal clear.

At the Birlas, Manjari faints upon finding out what has happened, and Harsh, Anand, and Parth go to the station. Abhi refuses to write an apology note, but he still apologies for accidentally pushing the officer. Even the officer admits that Abhi is a true and pure human, but now Manish has to forgive him. Manish’s ego has overtaken everything at this point. Abhi did not let the cop insult Akshu— that was the only point at which he fought back— he said that she has a name and to address her by it. Both Abhi and Akshu can tolerate absolutely anything except paining or hurting the other.

On a side note, I actually really liked Harsh today. He did not create a scene and acted like a reasonable adult for once. Yes, he used his connections to help his son, but which father wouldn’t? He was also concerned for Manjari. He blamed Akshu for everything yet again, but I didn’t mind it today, because deep down, he does love Abhi.

Precap has Akshu at the police station asking the police to arrest her to, because this is all because of her. Manjari has arrived too— these two are the most important to Abhi, and they won’t let anything happen to him. Excited to see this pair flourish in their bond. And of course, much awaited heart attack happens and Aarohi calls Akshu. This is the final hurdle…everything is coming together now. Abhi will save Bade Papa, winning him over…. I have a strong feeling about this. He will also fix the diamond kaand.

A combo of my late night OS and day-off means that I woke up late, caught up with the episode late and I’m here late!! 😆

And what an epi it was! Totally loved it. Manish and his tantrums aside (yeah, what he did today firmly comes under tantrums) Abhira came shining through as a couple. The writers who are sketching their evolution as a team / couple deserve a huge round of applause. This is their test thru fire - a kind of Agnipariksha and they stood by each other unflinching, unwavering. And this is one role-reversal I couldn’t help but admire! The thod-phod doctor was the calm, reassuring one and the gentle, calm soul turned into a boxer. Waah! Superb! 👏

It’s not like Abhi’s temper didn’t spark. It did. One could see him struggle to rein it in. But he did it. And when it looked impossible, her touch helped him regain his equilibrium. And Akshara initially went her usual pleading, appealing way but when that was completely ignored, her cry of Mera Abhi as she clung to her brother watching bade papa speed away in his car was so moving. And that boxing scene - her fury, her helplessness, her inability to contain it all…oh she won me over (both Akshara and Pranali with her performance).

The only time both of them lost their cool was in defense of each other. Honest to God, I love the way this guy says - Akshara!

Kairav was a true brother today. And Harsh for once tempered down his tone and his attitude. Looks like the fact that his son was on the verge of being arrested shook him up. But I think it’s calm before the storm. Let’s see.

Precap - So Manish is gonna come and refuse to back down. He files FIR and that snaps Akshara’s already thin thread. Manish should think a little. This girl was out there, uncaring of her own reputation during the molestation case. Such is her desire to protect her Abhi. And that was BEFORE she confessed and accepted her feelings out loud. How did he even think that she would meekly sit at home now?

And Arohi ne toh naak katvadiya Birla hospital ki aur uske internship ki. Bade papa ko kuch hogaya! WTH! She should know what is wrong with him and instead of wasting time calling Akshara, she should do what she is being trained to do - be the first responder.😡 See, this is what happens when she focuses more on V-day instead of Study day. 😆
