And that is another issue, right? When everything become like this, things that actually need to be called out and take actions against, end up being trivialized. And also some strong condemning statement will put a full-stop on it and no real action takes place.

Right, it's getting harder and harder to pinpoint the things that should invoke true outrage. And the problem is people are getting blase to things that should make them angry or upset. Part of it is bias - exactly what you said about safe spaces not really being safe due to the sociological divides within them.
White women are given a lot of credibility but black women in the US are still not taken seriously when they complain about sexual or gender harassment. They're either thought to invite it or be tough enough to deal with it because they're 'used' to such behavior from their menfolk.

Willing to bet there are parallel situations in India.
