I like to think that imlie was thrown into that situation and she made the best of it.

No matter how many social services ngo run they can not reach each and everyone in need, so if imlie reached there, and she can help them (with aryan off course) then no harm.

Obviously she's been acting impulsive until now, but her partner has reached and now they'll balance out the shortcomings of other imlie can provide emotional assistance to the situation while Aryan can use his resources to dismantle this particular place.

And by covering it in the newspaper they can help dismantle other organisations like that.
