Regarding the coupon, Priya did ask Ram why he used it. So looks like she has not accepted the coupon for coming back alive for Ram

He thought that Priya was just upset about that night, she will be OK the next day. And he has left the phone for her to use, a way of communicating with her family

Ram still doesn't understand Priya. His view about Priya is that she is kadoos. He thinks that she is with him, after all, that transpired, he feels that she will forgive him eventually

I still find Ram's behaviour weird the next morning. It's almost as if he's self-centered (I'm sorry if this hurts anyone's feelings). Being khadoos and being naaraz are two different things.

If I was Priya, I would definitely not be ok the next day😆

As I had talked about in detail in a post last night (on this thread I think) Ram only sees Priya’s reaction as her ‘anger’ not going any deeper to see it as her ‘hurt’ or ‘upset’. That is why he treats it casually thinking she will eventually “cool down” & doesnt bother to properly address her feelings. He is very shallow like that.

I agree.

By looking at Priya's behaviour the next morning, even if she has 'cooled down', it doesn't mean she has forgiven him.

Someone needs to teach Ram a lesson or two on emotions/feelings. Not everything is a rainbow and definitely not with Priya.

Poor guy, he has only met the wrong people in his life. The friends always try to make him happy knowing how terrible his family and Vedika are treating him. So no one has shown true feelings to him. He will learn soon, give him some time, now he is in love, let him enjoy that emotion 🤣

Well, I would love to have a monologue of Ram what he felt for Vedika and eventually compare it with that he has for Priya

There's something amiss with Ram's character. He seems to have lost his dad when he was in college, by then his personality, people and emotions intelligence should have been developed 😆

but even before that there was Nandini… I also think, there is a back story, coz Nandu said during accident track that he could have lost a lot more ,when Virendra left, but somehow these people(Nandu and her bro and wife) became the pillars of meaning for his life apart from shivi and shubu.. which kinda explains, shivi and shubu were kids ,when that happened , shubu also knew , so I am guessing that he is a bit elder to understand the language of manipulation atleast…and that Nandu has a greater place in ram’s life and played a major pivotal support to him than his actual mother… so, I don’t think she has problems with ram as long as he is not getting attached and dependent on others. What could it be?

I have a different take on Ram’s behaviour which I would like to share. You know in a marriage there will come a lot of tough moments which need to be handled with a lot of maturity. Last night Priya was disappointed with Ram. She put her point across and I think Ram understood what she was trying to tell him. It was not a fight. Priya was sharing what she felt. She said what needed to be said and that’s it- topic closed. As this Akki mess has been cleared, Ram’s mind is relaxed, hence more receptive to understanding Priya’s point of view. So last night he understood what Priya was trying to tell him. In addition to that he was happy that she shared her pain with him- that’s a definite progress. He is normal because that is the right thing to do. In fact it requires a lot of effort to be normal with your spouse after such an incident. After all who will want an unpleasant atmosphere in the house- room as in Raya’s case. You want things to go back to normal as quickly as possible.

Thank you :) In fact I feel Priya also acted with a lot of maturity. She knew it was pointless to get Ram to understand her as along as he was worried about Shivina. So she waited for the right moment and spoke to Ram when she knew he will receive it well. ( Also i think Vedika’s note played a role in Priya baring her heart to Ram- if it wasn’t for the note, Priya would have forgotten her doubts and melted at Ram’s apology to Akki and Meera Ma).
