This is wonderfully described, Meher. This goes back to something I was thinking when the flashback came about the Birla family. Abhi was not shown shouting there either. He was silently supporting Anisha, and clearly his support was not enough, because Anisha ran away. There are only 2 people, and to a certain extent, 3 (Manaksh and Neil) who Abhi will smash the entire world into bits and pieces for. Anisha is important to him, but he will never protect her to the extent of these other people. And that's nothing against him. He is a really good brother to her, and yet, even in how he is handling this situation right now... if Akshu or Manjari or Neil were acting this way and wanting something so badly, he would stop the universe right then and there to make it happen. He would go off the rails if someone hurt Akshu even accidentally and unintentionally. But, here, he is calm because Kairav is Akshu's brother, and his main priority is to handle things smoothly so that Akshu does not get hurt and their relationship does not suffer. The track that people were expecting of Abhi being torn in 2 different directions will likely come post-marriage when a conflict occurs between Majari and Akshu....

Up until now, we have seen Abhi going to Akshu for the truth, but this time it will be reversed.
