Drunk??

It had been a week since raavi left Pandya Niwas, she knew she deserved better but she stayed back all this while coz of her love for this family. If leaving her “perfect” family was the only way to make them realize her worth then so be it

Staring at the barely furnished apartment, she began unpacking the boxes.

It took about 2 hours, but she had finally created a space which she call her own, a life without pandyas or narayans. She is her own identity.

To celebrate the new attitude she slickly opened the bottle of wine.

4 glasses in and she was tipsy, stumbling to her phone she called him, the cause to most of her problems

“Helloo?” She spoke drunkly

“Raavi?” He whispered

“Aap kaun?” She asked cutely

“Are you drunk?” He asked knowing the answer very well

This was the 3rd call he was receiving this week, it was an unknown habit to get drunk and call him. From ranting to him about her day to cursing him for her fate, she always found her way of venting to him.

“Very” she replied

“How drunk are you?”

“Huh? Wtf is that supposed to be kaddu Pandya?”

“Are you drunk enough to not be able to remember all this tomorrow?” He asked again

“Yess” she slurred

“I love you raavi, and I know I’ve done you wrong. I want to become something on my own and rightfully claim you as my wife. You are the best thing life has done to me. Fate bought us together, I wouldn’t want hate to separate us.” He finally confessed
