The problem is that Ram's character is not showing growth. His character is where it was earlier. Priya's growth is shown very well. Ram is becoming her weakness. DP has nailed it too

Priya has her own share of trust issues and insecurities no doubt about it, but that is not specific to Ram, she keeps everyone at a distance and takes her time to build the trust based on the attitude and actions of the other person , but in spite of all that baggage , she has done a great job in trusting Ram, we can see a huge progress in her graph from being a men hater Priya Sood of first episode to Priya who has given a coupon " Jo aap chahe " to a man..

What irks me about Ram's character graph is , he gives a free pass to every Tom, Dick and Harry. His basic nature is to trust people, Priya being the only exception.

He seems to have trust issues only in matters concerning Priya especially off late. Shashi was bankrupt , he hid that from Ram and signed the deal and got away so easily with a stupid sob story.

Vedika took the credit of the Bday, their proposal video was out in public yet Ram's trust is intact..

Shubham is a brat and Ram knows that too (plus he knows Sid+Shubhu were behind the Sandy accident) yet he enjoys Ram's unconditional trust..

Anjali literally an outsider who has always contradicted her own theory ran away from police also enjoys Ram's trust..

So my point is jab puri duniya pe itna trust hai, to uss ladki pe bhi kar lo jo tumhare liye mandir tak chal ke gayi, jisne Shivi-Akki ke liye apne life ko risk me daala, apne father to tumhare liye arrest karwaya and 2 days pehle hi tumhare Bday ke liye itna kuch kiya...

Him straight away not picking up the calls was very weird and so was Priya's stupid voice message...

Yeah she did really well there. haven't seen the epi but browsed through clips on twitter and must say, disha is doing really great as priya .. ⭐️👏 her acting is so on point in this show! Having seen her since she debuted, I feel so proud.. the girl has grown and evolved so much!👏
