Not just in Abhi’s matter, from the beginning, as a character trait he should have helped her in not being conditioned in such a manner. He is quite elder to Akshara, he could have seen things happening when he had started going to college if not earlier.

Logistically that is impossible... Because IIRC, Kartik died on his way back from boarding school where he had just dropped Kairav and Vansh, so these two would actually have been away from home for the formative conditioning years... The major blame for this definitely goes to the senior Goenka group, not Kairav or Vansh.

I never thought of that but you're right! Any attempts of his to take a stand for Akshu would be shut down by her to the point where he's exhausted and both girls are annoyed with his reaction. He had a rough childhood too that we often ignore and I'm assuming for most of Aaru-Akshu's childhood, he wasn't there (in the leap he and vansh were away) so when he came back he was at a loss.

Yup... Kartik actually had gone to drop them off at the hostel. He died on the way back... 😭

Also, since Kairav was the one to lie to Akshara so that she would return home, I don't think it is a stretch to assume that he also tried other methods to convince her in the three years that she was away.
