No..a resident is a medical/ pharmacy / dental graduate working in a specialist area under the supervision of an attending. At least in Europe or North America. I don't know about India.

English is my first language.

I literally have to use subtitles sometimes on hotstar because some words are not easy to understand. Now I understand because I watch so much Hindi content but I am still not fluent and it doesn't come to me easily.
