This. This is the only thing that makes me to believe that abhi is an illegitimate kid and Neil is adopted or from Manjari and Mahima side family member. The only thing that could shatter abhi is Manjari not being his mother. Then if they have to connect abhi and akshu through pain. It is this that both abhira are being bought up by yeshoda ma.

Today manjari called both abhi and neil has her kahna she does it always to abhi and today to neil too.

If he isn't a birla makers can't go and get another family for him and somewhere story might look weird with abhi being adopted and Birla as the center of the story. So hey illegitimate might go along.
