I found it cute the way they showed it.

Karan wo dekh raha tha jo use dekhna tha, same with Monu.

Phir doosre ne uska bubble todh diya. Aur phir wo chale gaye, and the other wanted to chase them.

... I think I just found a parallel, between the rejection scene and the Karan ka poppat scene.
