I’ve had zero time to catch up today. Every time I tried I got distracted so thanks to anyone that’s tagged me, they’re the only posts I’ve read tonight.

I was thinking along the same lines about the “nafrat” slip. My first thought was that everyone who thought this was going to create a misunderstanding between them was right. Everything he has done she’s going to see through the eyes of his nafrat and revenge.

I was leaning more towards no marriage - I feel like they need to get out of it. But I think there might be a wedding now, if only because it’ll provide the much needed extra push for Aditya to hate the two. He was missing and she went and married her boss. (Of course based on his history with these two, it won’t register that they were essentially in the same place as he was over a year ago). The T’s will hate her because she failed and didn’t save their son - but instead married her boss - the main everyone keeps claiming she has no personal relationship with.

I think there are more story possibilities as they’re writing this with their marriage than without. The bonding scene between Meethi and Aryan was also trying to set this up I think. She’s going to support it, she’s seen his heart. (Also, omg, these two, their scene had my heart today, while the bandage scene was so amazing and beautifully Arylie - the conversation between M & A was just so beautiful).

Second Bold: I don't have the stomach for yet another "they're married but not really" marriages lol. I'm also dreading how the T's will treat her when she goes back without Aditya. If she comes back also married to Aryan, it'll be so ugly. Drama for days, and not really the fun kind.

If it does happen I'll hold out hope that it'll be executed in a way that's not heavy. It should still be fun. And yes, wasn't the scene between Aryan and Meethi excellent!? So sweet. I loved how she checked for a fever too 😂

Only things to highlight, Aditya's role doesn't fit on Imlie. The apathy I saw in Aditya, I see it is seeding within Imlie also, and I don't like it. The girl is far too detached from her actual persona. Apart from the fact that she is manifesting into a lunatic, her behavior also reeks of Aditya. So, I am sorry, she may be in grief, but it's similar to how Aditya felt grief and in that grief everyone was an enemy and they were a victim. Aditya was pathetic, turns out saaliji is not too far off in this. And this isn't about her rants, but this is her current behavioural display. Meethi is high on faith but she is ineffectual as a mother. And Aryan, please do not put her on a pedestal. It is too hard to protect that position.

Aryan and Aditya's contrast is something which these people always want to highlight. Aditya to baaton ke babaseer hai😆. He only talks about aam aadmi aur unka dukhda but his behavior reeked of how entitled and different he viewed himself from PD. Aryan on the other hand, to ease off the hesitation with Meethi, placed himself at the level of Imlie and Aditya (not for intelligence though😆) and proved that he is just another guy.

And lastly, marriage may be on the cards, but they say right God repeats situations to see if you have really learned your lesson. Well this is Imlie's test, and also Aryan's to be precise. But, seems they want to highlight the Wonder Woman aspect of Imlie again by making her bhashan ki dukaan, kahin bhi patak do shuru ho jati hai🤔. Last time Aditya ke sindoor se laal bandariya hui thi madam😆 like nature was branding her fate on her. This time they have kept the sindoor aspect to a bare minimum it seems, to show she is the creator of her own destiny. Waise precap dekh ke lag raha hai kabaddi match khelne aa rahi hai behen🤣

@bold: Agreed, she is definitely entering the lunatic phase. Her behavior has been reminding me of many of the characteristics of Borderline Personality Disorder!

Thoughts?

The way I see it is they will highlight the 50-50 partnership here. He moves, she moves and vice versa. Aryan will always stay behind when Imlie leads, will always front her when she needs protection. Shanti me peeche rahenge aur sangharsh me aage types. Like it happened with the Pannapari track which was just a trailer. There the people were harmless.

PD people are like the living ancestors of Aditya🤣. They think closed hut is moral indiscretion and Aditya thinks that wearing a coat in a closed room is a marital indiscretion. Atleast, I will be satisfied that a fierce Imlie would rather cut their throats for what they put her through a year back than get married under force.

It was objectification in one sense because he wanted to portray the image he captured in his lens (which ironically was similar to Devs … innocent, sweet village girls dancing, the carnivals, the natural scenery). I dunno what the English translation of istemal is but he took advantage of the essence and backstory of PD to spin his tale of PD and Satyakam. Thankfully, he painted Dadda in a good light.

As it is, Satyakam only agreed to the interview bc Aditya mislead the police from the barn they all tied him up in. I don’t think it was as if he saw Adi and thought, “well this a solid banda worth my time” 😆 thanks to Imlie, Adi wasn’t shot dead at that time, either 🤣

Successfully garnering a story, especially of Dadda’s, just felt like another notch under Adi’s belt. Another medal in his self-defined realm of success and social/professional status 😕

Whereas for KC … KC had actually reverence for data. KC fought for Dadda because he wanted to do something for him … not because he got any professional or political clout from fighting such a case

There's no way to move the BS-jiju character ahead. Okay, she saves him, and they engage in an emotional affair forever. Malini finally ends up killing herself or one of these two. Aryan becomes a suicidal- Devdas-cum-mentor and dies a sexless old man. End of story.

Given her lunacy right now, nothing short of a marriage is going to stop her from going back to the Ts to live in a ménage à trois.

A negative Aditya, basically a continuation of living Aditya, would bring her back on course. Imlie was actually doing okay with an alive and safe Aditya. She was crying, but she was trying too. Minor setbacks withstanding 😂. Like even when she got the bomb defused, she didn't run over to him. She won't cross that line while he's alive. But in death he's become "her BS" again.

I don't like him dead because she will just worship him and his family. Now that Malini isn't in that house anymore, there won't be anything holding her back from making that family her everything once again. That is if the T's don't divorce her first for "failing" to bring him back.

I guess it all depends on how they play it from here. But I would hate to see Imlie letting yet another "religious marriage" she doesn't want determine the course of her life. This is her chance to reverse some narratives and I hope both she and Aryan take it. If there is something symbolic, with genuine feelings behind it, that allows them to progress as they are, that I can get behind.

Also I feel like Imlie does genuinely like Aryan, and PD and Aditya MIA nonsense derailed that. So I would like them to bring Aditya back so that these two can continue falling in love, while Aditya and Malini continue creating "shipping" scenarios for Aryan and Imlie 😂 which is what they do best.

Makers spent this entire episode contrasting R's and T's, and drawings similarities between Imlie/Aryan and Narmada/Meethi. It was like the sole purpose in many ways.
