Oh no no, a certain actor who came in couple of months ago is 'grooming' an adult with her family and everyone else present on set. But when the same adult was underage and cast opposite a married man in his 30s for a year; they are family, sacche dost, bacchi and guardian.

Honestly, this culture of casting underage actors in adult roles needs to die a horrific death.

The actors are not responsible. I wouldn't allow my kid play such a traumatising role. I always thought Sumbul was in her early twenties before coming to this forum.

I wonder if Imlie is being shown to be that, holding on to those last vestiges of a dying relationship because she has convinced herself that she does not deserve anything better and nothing better would ever come for her.

In a way she may have been emotionally manipulated by the T's and what is happening with Aryan and his family may seem like too good to be true and fleeting. That someday she will be kicked out from the Rathore house as well.

If that is the case and not just the writers being dumb then it makes sense. Not every human being accepts breaking of a romantic relationship and the one where there was a power dynamic i.e. Adi holding more power, by showing himself more educated, serious journalist etc and downright verbally abusing Imlie, Imlie is more determined not to see the truth of how hollow her life was/to some extent still is.

oof this post, The bold - yes, totally.

Honestly, when you view them as individuals, you will have more respect for Aryan and his ability to deal with situations than for Imlie and her bravado.

Sometimes I feel is this even about Aditya or is this about Tripathis and their silly expectations of her. Cause she is completely aware that Aditya is not related to her in any way anymore. But the Tripathis still consider her the daughter. And seeing all that crying and whining for her on AdiNi wedding and the photo session where they thank her for everything, she is under this impression that they love her so dearly.

I know this is utter crap but this is what it is. The importance she wanted as DIL of that family post her marriage with Aditya, she got and lost post that divorce, but seeing her acceptance as a daughter has renewed her hope that she hasn't lost everything after all. And she is holding on to that, real tight. But are Tripathis worthier and deserving over Meethi also? The oh-so-giving FL does not give flying fcks about Meethi or Dadda as long as she doesn't need inspiration to execute her reckless actions. These people suffer pain to see her happy, and she has no regard for them. Frankly if death is the only way Imlie's concern is drawn to her real family, then there is something seriously wrong with her. Then she is no different than Aditya. Aditya has no regard for his family and Imlie has no regard for hers. In this aspect, my respect for Aryan just went up a few notches.

Honestly, adding teekha to namkeen😈, but that scene where Aryan holds her back has no emotional depth whatsoever. It only highlighted how Aryan was restrained and was left with only regret. Imlie on the other hand was looking like someone whose favorite toy has been snatched, that is how frustrating it was. Because her concern for Meethi is hollow. It is meaningless. And then when he left her and she looked back, I don't know why was she so stunned. What did she look back for, validation, no. The emotion was off there.

And please let us not make this about age anymore. Age is relative. At 30 plus, Aditya behaves like a dolt, Malini is deranged. Imlie's age can no longer be used as some kind of a shield for her. She is not some privileged urban teen who cannot get over a breakup. She has seen far worse growing up.

I am still awaiting the karmic slap that will snuff the life out of her. Her bru ha ha about Aditya and his measly life needs to see a mirror. She needs to feel what actual loss feels like in life. And come on guys, we have many shows to quote where the FL is not more than 18-19 and have been far more empowered and strong. For instance, Kalyani from THR, Naina from YUDKBH and ofcourse Geet from GHSP. So please.

The bold - I think this is needed too. Meethi's suffering is a necessity at this point to make her realize what actual pain and loss is. It was like Aryan questioned her on the day of her divorce - what does she know of loss?

I also think that in an effort to increase angst triangle they play up the BS-ing which makes Imlie seem insensitive given current circumstances. I went back and rewatched the episode where she breaks out of Aryan's office. She was erratic already. But then she found out the atanks had placed bombs all over PD, after which she called her mom and it didn't go through. This is when she became unbearably crazy and and broke out of Aryan's office. But I don't know why this key motivation was played so subtilely.

Whenever she starts ranting about her "apne" in front of Aryan my eyes glaze over. Not because I think for one minute that she cares more about BS, but because they're using the same words as her resolution that set Aryan off to try to continue to cause friction between them and play up the triangle.

They're putting Meethi's safety and this ridiculous triangle on the same level, and effectively pitting her romantic life and her concern for her mother against each other. Which is gross.

If the only purpose of this track was Meethi's death or serious injury resulting in a more "mature" Imlie, then the triangle could have been put on hold for atleast a couple episodes to focus on Imlie's personal growth. Because this side-by-side execution is just insensitive and baffling.

I'm disappointed when she called out all T's names as well inorder to save BS ! First she said to save PD ppl and now T's as her family and some bahanas she is making and in actual she is thinking and wanting to save only BSsmiley29 This ladki started to lie more smiley7

Aryan was trying to remind her many times today Aditya was her ex-husband. She even went ahead saying how much special he was to hersmiley7 to the police officer when Aryan corrected it as senior colleague ! Ughhh !! Irritating ladki ..

Aryan was really acting smart , knowing the info by contacting anti-terrorism squad , police and here this ladki wanted to shout on police officer for BS 🙄 What she is going to get by dong that !?smiley29 Again Aryan has to say her that she is acting like a fool giving sardard (I'm like nice Aryan👍🏻) and when he said that ex-husband and intelligence divorce dialogue I was like Aryan 👌🖐🏻 !

until Aryan pointed out about her mother being missing since the blast happened she was all the time Adi and BS !smiley7

Again she started her BS jaap and went running saying she would find BS alone , I was like 😡😬 and wanted to hit her as she is only bothered about Adi and no one over there in danger and not even more for her mother !🤐

Her age here cannot be given as any excuse anymore atleast in this track !

@ bold whatever age it is everyone cares about thier mother before anyone that is my POV.. . But she didnt care like what the hell she is your mother who gave birth to and take care for u like 18/19 years....doesn’t u have any responsibility towards her.....😡....but what say in ITV dont put logic....so obviously FL will be worried more about ML without worried about Family members.. ..

This is interesting.

But even when she is claimed to be the 'daughter' of the house, she is treated nowhere close to it. Instead the 19 year old girl is expected to save their 35 year old son. Her value is tied to her ability to for the lack of a better word 'guide' Adi.

And the T family is the prime example of blood is thicker than water, because everything said and done. They will always care for Adi unconditionally while their liking towards Imlie is fickle and conditional at best. At this point Imlie is NO different than Adi. Her asking Meethi to care of her jiju and Meethi encouraging this jiju - saali relationship is downright disgusting.

Imlie's subconscious is clearly more enlightened than her conscious as of now. I really hope she regains her footing and her feisty spirit that her jiju has dampened. That 'babushaeeeebbb' in the promo is still ringing in my ears fuelling the headache I already have

Many a times I feel Imlie's character lacks depth then I come across these kinds of post. And I love these posts where everything that is not explicitly shown comes to light.

Even though they are personal analysis and views but they helps in understanding her character more.
