I have seen enough crime shows to know it always starts at home more than likely before going to other leads in the investigation lol

Exactly....firstly to knw the history of the missing person. If she has any enemies who can harm her..or she has a tendency to run away..or where her usual hiding places are. 😆.then parallely they will search the house too....investigations on shows are pretty detailed ..writers should ateast watch other shows before writing their own..🤪.
