Tumhi Dekho Na mein SRK-Rani ke characters ke costumes ka budget inn bechare gehraiyaan ke bachchon ke pooray movie ke costumes se jyada hoga.

Soundtrack seems fresh and peaceful. Trailer seems okayish. This movie is tailormade for ott.

Thats true, only the streaming site knows what the actual numbers are, nearly every film that has come on OTT has been labelled a success by the producers no matter what the views are, its a very clever way of saving a film from being labelled as a flop

Yep, shit like Laxmmi Bomb or Bhuj would have flopped hard if they were released in cinemas. Only being on OTT saved them

This is what I've wanted from Deepika since 2015/6. I hope it does well so we get more. It's in that Imtiaz Ali/ADHM space without the songs and glamour. Shakun does human relationship turmoil so well... 😭

Ananya is holding her own. The boys are looking cuuuuuter than hell too.

This could be my favourite film of the year, I can't wait.

I don't get KANK comparisons. It's more like a modern-day Arth.

I honestly do not get this critique for her - She is from south so she will have an accent. Initially in her career it was a bit disjointed and jarring, but I think now she handles it well. I mean at times it stands out, but mostly she is able to play her characters within this limitation of hers.

She hasnt really played any bihari/haryanvi characters where this accent would become too problematic. In Piku she plays a Bengali but one working in Delhi, and such combos can often lead to weird accents, so it did not require too much of suspension of disbelief here.

I just feel as an actor, shouldn't she be able to shed her innate accent and take on different personas which includes modifying her speech/accent based on where the character might come from? She sounds like a South Indian speaking Hindi whether she's playing a Punjabi, Bengali or Gujarati. Even the cadences and rhythms of her dialogue delivery and her voice modulations sound exactly the same in every film I've seen of hers. It's getting a bit stale, is all..
