I understand it worked for them once but it is not going to work all the time. At that time people knew evil will get it's karma, which happened during airport exposure but after that it was all downward spiral. Jasmeen went scot-free without any consequences of her action. Now she back to be more evil. Problem with UD is that the unbearable torture last for 3-4 months and the relief /happy days not even for one full episode. There should be some balance. They had opportunity this time when they came back to Moga, where they could have continued with Fateh's redemption, Tejo's slow acceptance and on side track they could have shown Sim-Buzzo wedding along with Papa Virk trying to get back what he lost with help of Fateh. But No, they have to somehow insert Jasmeen for 15 mins in every episode. The day the episode is Jasmeen free then assume that next all episode she will occupy 15-17 mins of screen space...I have never heard a villian/vamp grab so much of screen space against the main protagonist. There is no semblance of positivity in this show. They are losing out on the loyal audience they built in the last 6 month.

Exactly!

First they just wanted to stay on air but they hit lottery and became top shows. Greed crept in. As long as they stuck to telling story their own way they got TRP as soon as they started giving in to weekly ups n downs they are losing it.

Still they have ample opportunity and time to slow down and get back up. Just go at a decent pace in one direction. Too much #FOMO happening with them.

The outfits yes but ye jo shoot dikha ye scene nahi hua. Tejo never went to virks. Jab mamla bigda then fateh called her and they met outside. Same episode baad main sabar gaya kabar main dialogue tha buzzo ka. Tab costume change ho gaya tha fatejo ka. Ye bts dekh ke we thought it's promo shoot.

During Shimla track I was just watching Fateh's scenes. In last 3 weeks I have not watched single episode. I am now going back to watching the show online after it airs to save my sanity. It is absolute torture to bare Jasmeen and now Amrik for whole 15 mins...🤣

Also they need to change their Promo strategy. Why Promo's are from Jasmeen's POV. She is a vamp for god sake. I was checking Voot yesterday and all UD recent 4-5 Promo's are Jasmeen centric. Who cares what's her pov or revenge.

From the beginning show has been revolving around what J wants. She wanted Canada , Tejo said yes to Jass , she wanted Fateh with Canada Fateh said yes , then she said no to marriage , fatejo happened , then she wanted Fateh back and he went back , then she wanted Tejo out of way that too happened. Only thing she didn't ask during EMA was about Canada , this Canada thing was again brought by F and he ditched her. Now she wants revenge and that too is happening

Do Tejo and Fateh have any other role to play?

If you make it a habit to run your show on shock value this is what happens. At one point audience gets desensitized to your antics and you will keep stooping low to gain them back through more cringey, desperate drama.

They will lose all the little goodwill so painfully earned so far.

This is the time to tell a good story. Audience got their high from airport episode. Until and unless you build it up to the next high point slowly audience won't take the bait for such cheap thrills.

This is my view completely...UD is supposed to be youth/romance genre as it does not fall into typical saas-bahu drama or intellectual show category. The worse thing can happen in romantic drama is EMA of male or female lead, which already happened and done and dusted with. So people are like what worse could happen and now probably has stopped bothering about this show 🤣
