First book the last wish is a collection of short stories 🤣

The base is more faithful in comparison but the execution and their writing was trash 😆 but still somehow better than s2 🤣

Okay 👍🏼 season 1 is mostly based off that though they completely skipped a crucial story that would’ve solidified Geralt’s and Ciri’s relationship more

that and other details that don’t make sense 😆 there’s too much for me to explain so 🤣

hehe acha. Yeah s1 was confusing for me. I couldnt understand what they were doing. At times it was continuous saga and then they would bring in short incidents but since i had not even fallen in love with characters i absolutly hated that style but eh whatever. 😆

It’s because of the short story format of the book 😆 I was worried they wouldn’t be able to handle it well and I was right 🤣

blood of elves is the first book of the continuous part of the series of that makes sense, but second overall

Yeah actually its third i think. Fourth if you count the polish version too. There are three book before that. The witcher (no english release), sword of destiny, the last wish. All these are short story collections like u said

First episode i remember they left on ciri n witcher and i was waiting more on it in second episode but then second episode they brought new character completly ignored ciri and witcher. It is basically trying to be a generic fantasy show 😆 but I can imagine people will get bored with the storyline in the books though I myself enjoyed it 😆 Henry is carrying the show 🤣 I was only watching for him initially (even though I was excited to see the Witcher in another form) and he’s still doing great with what he’s given but I’m deciding not to continue with season 3 😆

yennefer’s character turned into a whiney teenager for me

Whenever i see henry he reminds of superman😆 thats how i remember him most.

I hate yenn most. She served no purpose in s1. It was more like she just wnats whatever she cant or doesnt have. Doeant have magic wants magic. Cant be conventionally pretty, wants to be pretty. Cant have children, wants children. Are bhai to me kya karu. Why should i care? Finally when in s2 she got linked to ciri and overall plot i found her okay. I was expecting k she should feel conflict when she is with ciri. She understand what it means to have power and ciri has it but then she needs to capture herbecause of that wierd monster from hut i forgot the name. So during that conflict i started to accept it. Until them i was hell ignoring her.

Perhaps it’s just a difference of taste because I enjoyed both 🤣 it complimented the games for me

I was never a DC person so can’t comment there 🤣

I found her getting worse and worse as season 2 went on 😆 mother daughter bond between the two ruined and trashed, more whininess, and the fact that she was there that much at all 🤔 when she wanted to sacrifice Ciri that’s when I knew I couldn’t continue with the way they took the story 😆
